Please arrive a few minutes early so we can start your massage on time and give you the full time scheduled for you. We may hold a short intake interview to discuss your specific needs and massage therapy goals.
You will be securely covered and only the part being worked on will be uncovered as it is being worked. Proper draping is required at all times. You will have privacy to undress and get comfortable on the table after any intake interview is completed.
Massage therapy is most enjoyable and effective when the client is present in the moment; however, do not hesitate to express your needs or ask questions at any time.
One to two sessions a month is recommended for general relaxation or maintenance. Therapeutic massage may require anywhere from 8-12 sessions in a 4 week period. Treatment plans will be discussed after your first session is completed and we have a better hands-on understanding of your particular muscular issues.
Most people feel very relaxed. Deep tissue, trigger point therapy and other similar modalities may result in some soreness the next day but should disappear within 24-48 hours. You should drink plenty of water after a session.
There are few conditions which would prevent you from enjoying a massage. You should not receive massage if you have a fever, cold/flu, or contagious skin infection. Some medical conditions may require a doctor medically clear you for massage.
Currently, FSA and HSA are accepted.
There is plenty of free parking behind the building. Please enter through the building’s front door or use the call box to access the back of the building.
Clients agree to the policies as a condition of doing business. A credit card on file or prepayment is required to reserve appointments.
